We can now supply standard kits of predispensed cocrystal formers in GC/LC vials, in a variety of sets of 12 or 24, ready for addition of API for direct use, either in our Screening mill or in your own workflow.Kit Picture These kits contain a wide spectrum of acids, amines, amides, ureas and neutral compounds providing the best possible chance of forming a co-crystal. If you are interested in several methods for predicting whether your API is likely to form a cocrystal with any of these compounds, click here.

Below is a table of chemicals available with some chemical information. To see more detailed information, please simply log-in using the 'social' buttons on the right or register first (click here). You must then select from the uppermost menu and you will then be able to see pKa values, GRAS status, Handbook of Pharmaceutical Salts listing, etc.

The kits contain chemicals suitable for screening where:

  • Kit 1 is a broad set of acids suitable for an intitial screen
  • Kits 2-4 are complimentary to Kit 1
  • Additional kits can be prepared according to customers requirements for screens* or studies**.

*a screen is considered a rapid pass-or-fail test and the cocrystal formers in these screen kits are diverse enough that at least one ís likely to form a cocrystal with and appropriate API

**a study is considered an extensive series of tests of stoichiometry, solvent, conditions etc., and kits are prepared accordingly. Alternatively, a customer may already know what class of cocrystal former they would like to test and a set of a variety of compounds in this class may be supplied.
